Hello! I’m Kyle Abrahm, an engineering student focused on solving environmental challenges. My goal is to create meaningful impact by maximizing the number of people affected (scale) and the depth of each contribution (significance). From ocean advocacy to large-scale construction projects, I’m driven by curiosity and the desire to make a positive impact.
I fell in love with the ocean at ten years old after getting certified for scuba diving in Colorado and working at my local dive shop. Despite the lack of ocean, this newfound interest led me to cofound Generation Ocean: a 501(c)(3) teaching students about marine conservation using data from research expeditions to Cuba and Curaçao. The ocean is my “why”—a vital ecosystem we all depend on. Engineering is my “what”—the practical means to protect and restore a dying resource.
I’ve studied engineering since 2017, honing my artistic engineering creativity, technical communication abilities, caboose leadership style, and overarching passion for innovation and logical problem-solving. Beyond diving and engineering, I’m an avid skier ⛷️, fly fisherman 🎣, cyclist 🚴, artist 🎨, storyteller 📖, fire enthusiast 🔥, meditator 🧘, classic rock listener 🎸, and chef 👨🍳. I strive not just to be the best, but to be the only. Please reach out; whether for questions, opportunities, or even jokes, I'm happy to connect. I love making new friends in this wonderful world.
